> Subject: Risk Factors Hi everybody! Here are a few risk factors, that I thought I will share with you: - Medical Transcription is dependent on the individual. - As this industry is nascent and there is a general recession in other industries, a number of units are mushrooming and there will be high turnouts of staff and increase in level of emoluments for medical transcriptionists increasing salary outflow at a rapid pace. - As this business purely depends on quality, there is a definite risk of losing business if quality is not maintained. - If the US for some reason like protecting there local labour force legislates the prevention of medical records of individuals going out of US the business in India will be terminated. But the bottom line we find is people without any core competence in either medicine or IT trying to jump on the bandwagon. Rajarshi Banerji Comment?

> Subject: More transparency and professionalism needed!! Hi MTIDers! This business is mainly in the hands of small entrepreneurs. Now a days lot of corporate companies are entering into MT Business and their real objective is to train people at their own cost and employ them hence spending money on getting training from smaller institute would not be a good decision. I know a corporate sector company which is planing to setup MT production center, they will be interested to take fresh graduate etc who will in turn be trained for six month ( avg. 7 hr. a day for six days a week). Each trainee will be also be given a stipend. ALL THIS AT NO COST !!. On completion of successful trainee, candidates will be observed in the company itself hence ASSURED JOB. These kind of real player will make some good practices in MT industry. Thanks Arora SK Comment?
